The Valley

As I walk through the valley of my mind, I see the doors coming at me,
One is telling me to forget, and the other is telling me to remember.
I see hate in my eyes as i stare in the mirror,
And nothing stares back,
I am empty, not complete.
As I walk through the valley of my mind,
I feel the winds of pain blowing past me,
Weighing me down, holding me back.
It whispers sweet sounds of love and envy that i only possess,
but i am dying, slowly i am dying.
As I walk through the valley of my mind,
I see confusion and lonliness.
I have no one.
My spirit is gone.
I have no friends.
I think to myself and say, will I die alone, will alone become me.
I have walked my last valley.
It hurts, it burns, it satifies.....
Yet I will never know why it calls me so,
And so deep, that I am dead, in heart and in soul.
